The book Falling Behind: Explaining the Development Gap Between the United States and Latin America was presented in Mexico City on April 16, 2007. The presentation took place in the Raul Bailleres Auditorium at the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).

The presentation was led by Rafael Fernandez de Castro, Enrique Krauze, Jorge I. Dominguez, Roberto Russell and Francis Fukuyama.
