The third call of the Vidanta-Wilson 2019/2020 Fellowship was convened by Fundación Vidanta and the Wilson Center Latin American Program in 2019 with the aim of investigating and proposing concrete solutions to the range of environmental threats facing the countries of the hemisphere.
The goal of the fellowship was to explore and highlight evidence-based initiatives that have shown promising results and have the potential to be adopted on a broader scale in the region.
The call closed on September 30, 2019. The Selection Committee was composed of authorities from the Wilson Center and Fundación Vidanta and the following external experts: Anne Andrew from Earth University, Sherri Goodman, former deputy director of Environmental Security of the United States Department of Defense, and Kim Miner from the University of Miami.
The fourth call for the fellowship will be published in the first quarter of 2020.
