The annual meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations in Latin America and the Caribbean was held on 4 and 5 December in Nuevo Nayarit, Nayarit, Mexico. The meeting was attended by leading figures from the political, academic and cultural level in Latin America. The Council discussed key issues of relations in the region with China and the United States and also the status and prospects of regional integration processes in Latin America. The Vidanta Foundation and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) sponsored the meeting.
