Second workshop "Latin America: Strategies and External Alliances”. Nuevo Nayarit, Mexico, 2007.

The second workshop was held on January 17 and 18, 2007, in Nuevo Nayarit, Mexico. Its organizers were the Vidanta Foundation, the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM) and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Objectives of the workshop:

- To present the first results of the investigations on the working agenda of the project "Latin America: Strategies and External Alliances"

- To verify the progress of the investigations and discuss their main conclusions and findings.

- to improve the revised versions of the documents that would be presented at the international seminar in Mexico City on April 17 and 18, 2007.

- To exchange ideas about the primary policy recommendations that would come out of this stage of the investigation.
