The Caribbean During the Era of Globalization: Problems and Challenges

Sponsored by Fundación Vidanta, the project formed part of a group of activities that promote the Center for Research and Social Studies (CIES) of the Latin American University, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It was carried out with the cooperation of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and the Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) of the University of Puerto Rico.

The project brought about a series of studies on integration, development and cooperation in the Caribbean that were presented at an international seminar in Santo Domingo in November of 2011.
