Michael Shifter and Jorge Dominguez presented the book, Constructing Democratic Governance in Latin America, that was the product of the project of the same name sponsored by Fundacion Vidanta. The event took place September 19 in Washington, DC at the headquarters of Inter-American Dialogue. The work was discussed by professor Francis Fukuyama.
