The Vidanta Foundation will finance a workshop for authors to be held in Mexico City in February 2015 and the elaboration of all the chapters that will comprise the book: "US-Latin American Contemporary Relations: Cooperation or Conflict in the Twenty-First Century?".The book will be published by Routledge at the end of 2015.and will include different chapters on United States relations with eight selectedcountries of the region, and two key topic for the Western Hemisphere: violence in Latin America and the role of diasporas in hemispheric relations. The project will be jointly conducted by Harvard University and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
