Vidanta Foundation Award Ceremony 2012

On Tuesday October 16 in the Club of Industrialists in Mexico City, the awards ceremony for the 2012 Vidanta Foundation Award took place. Distinguished personalities in the field of politics, culture, diplomacy and business gathered to recognize the work of three non- governmental organizations and one academic contribution.

The awards were given to the Women’s Institute Foundation of Chile, the Rahab Foundation of Costa Rica, and the Pro Social Housing Foundation of Argentina, which received $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 dollars respectively. The Vidanta Foundation also awarded $50,000 dollars to the academic work “Proposal and Plans to Reduce Poverty and Inequality” by Guillermo Cruces and Leonardo Gasparini.
