On May 31 the call for entries for the 2012 Vidanta Foundation Award recognizing “Contributions to the reduction of poverty and inequality in Latin America and the Caribbean” closed. 141 applications from 19 countries were received. The candidates will be evaluated by the Panel of Awards Judges on August 28 in San Jose del Cabo in BajaCalifornia, Mexico.
