With the sponsorship of Fundacion Vidanta, the international seminar “Reaching Across the Pacific: Latin America and Asia in the New Century” was held on June 20 in Washington DC in the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The main speakers were: Adriana Abdenur, BRICS Policy Center; Mauricio Reina, Fedesarrollo; Enrique Dussel, National Autonomous University of Mexico; Richard Feinberg, Public Policy Scholar, Professor of International Political Economy, University of California, San Diego; Marcos Robledo Hoecker, Professor of International Relations and Foreign Policy, Diego Portales University; Gonzalo Paz, George Washington University, and Cynthia Sanborn, University of the Pacífico. The seminar was opened by Luis Alberto Moreno, President of the Inter-American Development Bank.
