Fundación Vidanta and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars signed an agreement of cooperation to jointly carry out the project “Asia and Latin America in the New Century.” The project will be sponsored by Fundación Vidanta and will be developed in two phases: visions from Latin America about relations with Asia, and visions from Latin America, Asia and North America about the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPSEP)/Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The work on the first phase of the project will be presented in a seminar that will take place in the city of Washington on June 20. It will involve six case studies about the implications of the links with Asia on the development and foreign relations of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru.
