The 2013 Fundacion Vidanta Awards were presented on December 4 at the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago Chile. The ceremony was opened by the Minister of Social Development, Bruno Baranda, and was attended by the Mayor of Santiago, Carolina Toha. The awards were presented by the former President of Uruguay, Julio Maria Sanguinetti, the Ibero-American Secretary General, Enrique Iglesias, the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean,Alicia Barcena, the President of Fundacion Vidanta, Roberto Russell, and Daniel Omar Chavez, representing Daniel Chavez Moran, President of Grupo Vidanta.
