Daniel Chavez Moran, President of Vidanta Group, was invited by Heraldo Muñoz, former U.N. Ambassador for Chile and current Assistant Secretary General and Regional Director of the United Nations Development Program, to join the Advisory Council for the “Citizen Security Project.”
This Council is comprised of various former -presidents of Latin America and distinguished representatives from academia, politics, the media, non- profit organizations, and the private sector, among others. It will formulate the first set of recommendations for the Report on Citizen Security and Development that the UNDP is currently preparing. Prior to the publication of the final Report, the Council will meet in Viña del Mar, Chile, on January 11 and 12 to discuss the first version of the document.
