On Thusday, March 21 the Wilson Center will offer a seminar in Washington DC to discuss how can the goals of sustainability become part of a strategy that integrates the goals of tourism development with the protection of vulnerable ecosystems and enhances both local and national development. The event will be co-sponsored by the Vidanta Foundation and the Wilson Center´s Environmental Change and Security Program, and will be the final formal activity of the Vidanta-Wilson Fellowship 2018/9 awarded last year in order to promote sustainable tourism development in Latin America.
