Dr. Roberto Russell, President of the Vidanta Foundation, was part of the Leader Committee of the Inter-American Dialogue throughout 2020. The committee organized two of the most important activities of the year for this institution: the roundtable titled “The Role of the Private Sector in Addressing Social and Economic Inequalities in Latin America´s Post-Pandemic Recovery” (November 17) and the panel discussion titled “A Conversation with Former Presidents of the Americas” (December 10). Former presidents Laura Chinchilla of Costa Rica, Ricardo Lagos of Chile, Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia, and Ernesto Zedillo from Mexico also participated in these discussions. The Foundation sponsored these two events at the platinum level and brought together approximately 1,000 people from all over the Americas.
