Rebeca Grynspan and Nora Lustig have joined the Panel of Judges for the Vidanta Foundation Award. Rebeca Grynspan is Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Associate Administrator of the UNDP. She was the Vice President of Costa Rica (1994-1998), Vice Minister of Treasury (1986-1988), Minister of Housing and Human Settlements (1996-1998), Coordinating Minister of the Economic Sector (1995-1996), and Coordinating Minister of the Social Sector of the Government (1994-1998). Nora Lustig is Samuel Z. Stone Professor of Latin American Economics in the Department of Economics of Tulane University and non-resident fellow at the Center For Global Development and the Inter-American Dialogue. Billie Miller, Julio Maria Sanguinetti, Carmelo Angulo, Jose Luis Machinea and Luis Maira will also form part of the Panel of Judges. The Panel of Judges will meet on September 6 in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
